These documents and lists are background information about RPI.  Most of the early items were found in the institute archives in the Folsom Library.  The lists were accumulated over time, starting with earlier documentation. 

The explanation as to how the school's colors were chosen is interesting, mainly because most people affiliated with the school have no idea why the selection occurred.
